Books Are Magic is a wonderful neighborhood bookstore in Cobble Hill. 

In normal times, they host readings and events throughout the week at the shop, and still the bold bright pink lettering along the outside of the shop, evokes excitement. (They still host virtual events).

Thoughtfully curated with staff picks, bestsellers, and hidden gems, every time I visit, I stay much longer than planned.
