Hiroki Nakumara's visvim is designed around his obsession for finding what gives objects their power. He describes visvim's jeans as "Social Sculptures" because they are designed from the ground up. Inspired by old-world manufacturing, visvim's footwear is designed to ensure the wearer's feet are wrapped in leather.
With the objects he designs Hiroki Nakumara weaves a story full of a sweet nostalgia for the way things never were but maybe the way we like to remember them.
